Event Description

With four days of undiluted focus, you’ll be able to build the hand-eye skills to conduct the complete BPP and anatomy survey of the fetus.  You’ll learn how to orient yourself to three dimensional anatomy with two dimensional imaging and identify, measure, and document every pertinent feature of the developing fetus.

Our total immersion approach puts you at the bedside with live pregnancies the first day.  Under the patient guidance of your expert instructor you’ll develop and refine skills in structure identification and measurement immediately.  The small group setting fosters group interaction and collaborative learning.  After hours our scan lab remains open for your own independent practice to fine tune probe manipulation and machine controls on yourself or in colleague with your class peers.

Nurse Practitioners and Midwives find this training-without-distraction to be immediately valuable their practice. Sonographers new to this field delight in the systematic approach to a complex protocol.

SONOGRAPHERS who are beginning or extending their career skills into this area who will be working under the direct supervision of qualified and experienced staff.

NURSE PRACTITIONERS, PA's, NURSES and MIDWIVES already working in OB/Gyn that are implementing ultrasound into their practice.

FAMILY PRACTICE AND OB/GYN RESIDENTS who will be starting their women's care rotation.

ALL CANDIDATES preparing to take the OB/Gyn Certification Examination.
