I'm a Physicist from the UK and I'm undertaking a research project into the use of lead shielding on pregnant patients who have CT scans. As part of the project I need to gather information on how lead shielding is used for pregnant patients in a variety of CT Departments across world.
My previous posting said that the survey closed on 30th September 2009, however, due to the huge number of responses I have extended this indefinitely.
Furthermore I have translated the survey into a number of other languages so that it is available to more people. The web links for the surveys are given below:
I would be most grateful if you as CT Technologists could find the time to complete this survey and then send this email to your CT staff and ask them to complete the survey for me too. It should only take a few minutes of your/their time to complete and will provide me with invaluable data. All CT Radiographers/Technicians can take the survey even if they have never used lead shielding on a pregnant patient.
There is no closing date for this survey!
