Neuroradiology Fellowship Position
We have an unexpected opening for an ACGME approved Neuroradiology
fellowship position starting July 1, 2010 and are also accepting
applications for the fellowship starting July 1, 2011. Instruction is
provided by five fellowship trained neuroradiologists. The University of
Arizona Health Sciences Center comprises a 400-bed tertiary care hospital
and a substantial outpatient practice. The hospital has three GE MR scanners
(two 1.5T and one 3T) and three MDCT scanners. A fourth MR scanner and a
fourth MDCT scanner are located in an imaging center. The fellowship offers
experience in cross sectional imaging, MR spectroscopy, DTI, cerebral
angiography, myelography, vertebroplasty, and kyphoplasty, as well as facet
and SI injections. The Radiology research division operates a 4.7 Tesla
magnet for spectroscopy and imaging experiments.
