Dear Radiology Technologist (Radiographer),
I'm a Physicist from the UK and I'm undertaking a research project into the use of lead shielding on pregnant patients who have CT scans. As part of the project I need to gather information on how lead shielding is used for pregnant patients in a variety of CT Departments across world.
I have created an online questionnaire which can be accessed through the web link below:
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=SzpWbgNyv2pmHBXNnX_2f2PQ_3d_3d
I would be most grateful if you as CT Technologists could find the time to complete this survey and then send this email to your CT staff and ask them to complete the survey for me too. It should only take a few minutes of your/their time to complete and will provide me with invaluable data. All CT Radiographers/Technicians can take the survey even if they have never used lead shielding on a pregnant patient.
The closing date for responses is Wednesday 30th September 2009.
Please feel free to pass this on to CT colleagues in other Hospitals who you think could be
involved.
All participants can choose to be entered into a free prize draw when they have completed the
survey!
Thank you in advance,
Gareth Iball
