The source of delay of radiology report not only in teaching hospitals or in public hospitals but also can be at any place for many reasons:
- The crowdenes of the patients for investigation especially for CT scan
- the time needed by doctors for scanning patients, work station, choosing good cuts and imaging
- Delay also some times form waiting the consultant or head master of radiology department to take a decision in some cases.
- Also it comes form waiting some patient for making additional U/S, taking history, ....... to confirm the diagnosis.
I wish to give you some reasons and iam waiting your comment.
