A breast surgeon, frustrated with the handling of his lumpectomy specimens, asked me to invent a better method of getting two orthogonal views without damaging the specimen. I did. We now have a company called 2View, LLC that manufactures and sells them.

The specimen comes down from the surgical suite in a plastic bag and we image on a regular unit.
