Tobias Gilk has been working in MRI and radiology design and project management since immediately after receiving his master's degree in architecture. From fast-track projects to prototype suite developments, he has been intimately involved in virtually every aspect of MRI suite planning and design. Mr. Gilk lectures extensively, both at seminars and to individual healthcare facilities, on issues of radiology facility design, operations and safety. He currently serves the American College of Radiology's MR Safety Committee and the American Institute of Architects' Guidelines committee's Patient Safety Working Group and has written extensively for the MRI Newsletter and other sources
