Dear colleague three examples of hammock duodenum are posted to you from my own file although they have previously uploaded some here. please let me know if you have received them or you have other matters to be discussed.
It is always exciting to be able to diagnose the pathology just on a plain film as it really shows your expertiese but also save time on the part of patient however any radiology modality helping in solving the mystery is interesting.I shall try to share few of my cases with you too in some time.
Let me thank you first of all for going through my cases. Hommock is a kind of wide net attached to trees and used by tourists in Africa to lay on it in order to obviate insect bites! When there is a fairly long mesoduodenum the first part of it has a fold between the pylorus and genu superius of the duodenum very alike to the net-bed! It is sometimes called duodenum mobile but i prefer this simulating term. Hope everything is clear now for you. Your questions make me happy if i could give you suitable answer.
