XD3 features

XD3 is our latest software solution for oncology professionals. Building on the success and functionality of our previous products – Fusion XD and Fusion 7D – XD3 combines the benefits of these two precursors into a single intuitive application.

XD3 uses powerful registration techniques to bring an unprecedented level of analytical power and functionality to the user. Its disease specific oncology workflows are designed to enable oncologists and radiologists to increase patient throughput through productivity, and more effectively arrive at clinical decisions when treating cancer patients.

Our XD3 software provides standard tools for PET, CT, MRI and SPECT scans, as well as hybrid scans – but what sets it apart is the ability to fuse together single scans taken at different times. Using deformable registration algorithms, it is possible to align the two images and compensate for differences in scanning protocol such as patient positioning. XD3 can be used to create PET MRI fusion images from separate scans, providing the user with industry leading techniques for patient assessment.

As well as these and many other advanced features, XD3 offers a flexible working environment with workflows available on PACS, a laptop or on a home workstation. Mirada’s unique casebook plug-in for PowerPoint even enables the user to display DICOM images as part of a presentation.
